Hospice Care
Yuandan Trinley Dorje Rinpoche follows the "Bardo Rescue" teachings of the Dzogchen tradition and has developed a "Deathbed Guidance" course to allow practitioners to understand the truth about the bardo after death in advance and verify that their practice in this life is directly related to the bardo process after death.
In accordance with the teachings of the lineage, Rinpoche fully imparts the definition of each bardo stage and the different states of manifestation. He elaborates on the experiences of enlightened beings and ordinary people when facing the various bardo states, and teaches the meditation method of transforming confusing states into pure states, thereby opening the door to the light of enlightenment and wisdom.
The "Bardo Relief" teachings of the Dzogchen tradition are of profound significance. Learning the practical techniques of the "Bardo Relief Method" during one's lifetime will be of great benefit to one's own liberation in the bardo. With the help of the extraordinary merits of practicing this method, it can also help relatives and friends escape from the various fears and sufferings of the bardo caused by karmic pull.
After a person passes away, within three and a half to four days, their consciousness embarks on a crucial journey through the bardo body, where they suffer. Everyone must experience the fear of this bardo, but only those who have truly practiced the teachings on liberation from the bardo can safely pass through the next forty-nine days.
Practitioners who have truly practiced the "Bardo Relief Method" and have experienced extraordinary realizations will, upon entering the bardo after passing away, be clearly aware of their presence. They will see various visions and hear various sounds, realizing that all these visions are illusions and free from fear. In particular, when peaceful and wrathful deities appear, through the secret meditation techniques cultivated during their lifetime, they will recognize that it is the deity they practiced, and rest in the compassionate light manifested from their heart chakra, thus escaping the suffering of the bardo. Awestruck by the deity's compassion, they will realize the non-duality of birth and death and nirvana, and thus attain rebirth in the Pure Land, the heavenly realm, or the human realm, avoiding the ways of the lower realms.
